Bridgeton Umbrella Restoration Project
Commissioned by Clyde Gateway, from November 2022 - June 2023, Culture Junction will be delivering specialist workshops in the community of Bridgeton, gathering stories about the iconic Bridgeton Umbrella, as it is dismantled to be repaired. This project sees Culture Junction collaborate with a number of artists of varying disciplines. This project is led by Culture Junction’s Karen McGrady-Parker and writer/facilitator John Binnie.
